Concerning set up of new JPX-6

So I just recently purchased my first EBMM and i am stunned on the overall feel and tone of the instrument, but i am having some problems with setting it up. I had it restrung and tuned to Drop C, straight out of the box, with a mild truss rod adjustment, but it still has a slight tendency to go out of tune. It doesn't feel as comfortable as i would like. The guy i took it into to set up, did a string height adjustment, but no intonation. Is it necessary to intonate?
and i prefer a low action, with all the legato and finger tapping that i do.
any advice would be enough to suffice!!

It is absolutely necessary to tweak the intonation.

kneeoh is right. If you're changing tunings you'll need to do the intonation. It's not hard, and shouldnt take very long.

alright cool, ill be getting on that right away. And as far as the relevance of string height adjustment, that is necessary if i am wanting to get a really low action?

Your guitar has a ton of adjustments. Individual string height can be useful but action is affected by a lot of factors, notably truss adjustment, the nut (especially if you have heavier strings on there for such a low tuning), the adjustable trem poles, etc. If you're not comfortable with the variety of adjustments to be made, you'll need to find a pro who is able to setup the guitar appropriately.

alright, thanks for all the advice guys, much appreciated. I just did a quick intonation and slight adjustment of the string height and it is already playing much better.
