To be honest, I dont see the purpose of having the trem-no on the LUKE unless it had a recessed bridge. But go for it and see how it turns out. My perfect solution for that is to have a hardtail and a trem guitar.

I understand of course. But what is the reason for you installing the trem-no? You want to lock the bridge completely or what? because you can always tighten the trem claw and add springs. Unless you want to go from locked trem to floating on the fly?
Oh, and the Suhr pickups are pretty awesome! Highly recommended if you want to try something else at some point.

Well, I love the feeling of my floating tremolo with 2 springs, I don't want to renounce it, I'd like to use the tremol-no just to block the bridge now or then when I want to droptune or using alternate tunings. You surely know how impossible is doing it with a floating tremolo!
Exactly why I love my Y2D. I dont have to worry about setting up the trem claw or springs or anything if I want to go to D or Eb. But I definitely need a trem as well.
