    Axis neck, advice before buying

    Hi everyone,

I'm new here, from france, and I want to join your club and have my own MM !

I'm on a deal on a rosewood axis at a good price, but the neck had been hurt and the frets seem used:

According to you, is the problem on the neck superficial or should it be fixed ?

And the frets, do you think th'ey're playable or do I have to chage them if I buy it?

    Thanks for your answears !

The fret wear doesn't look horrible. A tech could likely level and dress those up fine. The line looks like a broken headstock? Or is it just cracked?.....which I guess might be worse. Maybe check with customer service to see what a neck replacement would cost.

    thanks for your answear.

do you talk about the line that starts between the 2 holes where the screws are? So I guess in both cases it's not a good idea to buy this if the neck need to be repaired... brr.. the price was cool !

in Europe these guitars cost a fortune compared to usa !!

Those dings in the frets look pretty bad to me but they might be salvagable. Those individual frets could be replaced and then the entire fretboard could be dressed at a reasonable cost. The crack/repaired neck on the other hand would have me running for the hills. I'd pass if it were me...
