    Music Man JPX11 suggestions

I put a set of skinny top and heavy bottom Ernie ball strings on my jpx11, i want to tune to c standard. When i put the new strings i had a lot of fret buzz, maybe i need to raise the action ?? do i need to have the guitar set up for heavier strings ?

after i tried the heavy strings i went back to a set of standard .10's slinkys, but now it appears the groove it the nut where the strings rest has worn down the action is so low i cant paly it at all.

    Help.

    any suggestions

Yes, your best bet is to have a good repair shop do a complete setup on it. MusicMan will do setups if you send them the guitar, or you can have a local shop do the setup. Without knowing your location it's tough to tell you where to go!
