    Axis Super Sport case

I'm a recent EBMM convert. Came from PRS and I'm not looking back! Just bought a Silo Baritone and received a used Axis Super Sport this past week.

The SS didn't come with the original case, so I'm curious where I could pick one of the original fitted cases up.

    Thanks for the help, guys!

I'd like to know that as well! And more specifically, have there ever been fitted left-handed axis super sport cases EBMM? I received mine in a non-fitted case. Is that normal for left-handed guitars, or Axis Super Sport in general?

Hi Jordan and welcome to the forums!

Hard cases are not easy to find on their own because each guitar leaves the factory in it's own case, which it is intended to be sold with. Contact Customer Service and they might be able to help you find one near you. If not, you might be able to order directly from them. BTW, little forum initiation rite - your guitar does not exist without pictures!

Trem, I'm not entirely sure but most EBMM guitars are shipped in a one-size-fits-all case, they are not formed to each guitar and are designed to work well for both left-handed and right-handed instruments. I'm sure somebody else will chime in if I'm wrong on that.

Just as a datapoint, keep your eye on Craigslist. I picked up a SKB? G&G? case from craigslist and later sold it here because it was the right size for only my sub 1 and the Axis Supersport fit without the trem arm. My Axis and Al definately did not fit and the previous owner got it with his Silo and traded that with Guitar Center for a Steve Morse and for whatever reason GC didn't want the case. The morse didn't fit.

I have 2 sizes of the plastic molded cases. Both fit all my musicman guitars.

    I'm a righty.

I also bought one of the black plastic molded cases from someone here.

So it's worthwhile for you to watch the for sale section here and perhaps put a "wanted" into the fs section.

Good luck. You'll find something fairly quickly, I'm sure.

keep in mind that you are talking about four pieces of wood two pots one switch a trem along with springs two pickups and some wire.....BP

The case I have for mine SS Axis allows the guitar to bounce around a bit, though I do think it's the OHSC because it has the Music Man logo on it. I've never been happy about that case.
