Watched this again. Great little interview. I know these are protos what with the evh having no covers on the switch routing.
But I am getting really sad when I notice that 1 screw? was missing from the silo scratchplate. Did it also have some damage to the neck at 1:50 at the 3rd fret?

At 2:36 you can see the nice crazing in the finish on the Morse headstock

Pictures speak a 1000 words and that interview was as good a reading a few chapters in a book.

In this video, you can also see how the early EBMM guitars were fretted, With the fret ends very sparsely dressed to give the player more fret, if that makes sense. I can remember playing some very early EBMMs, including one of the guitars painted up in string packet colours with the eagle graphic, which had these frets with more playing area.

Look closely at the first 2 guitars in the video to see what I mean.

It was nice to see the instruments throughout the years. I liked the story about how Albert Lee ended up with his guitar.
