    Ronnie James Dio and Deep Purple

    So, I'm a huge Dio fan, and I just stumbled upon this video which is AMAZING. I thought I would share it with you guys (though some of you have probably already seen it!).

    In 2000 Deep Purple made a tour with the Romanian philharmonic Orchestra and with special guests.
    They played in several cities in Europe and of course I have seen them in Paris !!!
    Great show ! One of the best I have seen.
    It was a bit strange to see Steve playing Dio songs (Rainbow in the Dark, Fever Dreams ...).

    Yeah, I second that. I'm REALLY sad that there will never be a true Rainbow reunion. Or I should say a Dio/Blackmore collaboration.

    So cool to see this clip. Dio was such a great talent. Saw him twice. Back in the late 80's and just a few years ago when they did the Black Sabbath Reunion.

    Very nice. Really love/d Dio and his amazing voice and music. Too bad I never got a chance to see him live. Steve definitely does an amazing rendition of this song.
