    RIP Etta James

This one hits a little close. Bobby Murray played guitar for her for over two decades. He played with Frankie Lee before he went to work with Etta, and after I became Frankie's bandleader, we became friends. The last time Bobby played in Sacramento, he borrowed my amp when his crapped out.

Another great voice has been silenced.

    RIP Etta.

I remember a great video of her dueting with Dr John . I'm sure it was on a BB King and friends. A sad loss.
