    Now who remembesr Blind Lemon?

Just been re deployed to work near Shoreham on Sea till end of March. I'm gonna be near the Lemon and I phoned him today with the news I'm gonna be in his neck of the woods.

Looks like we're gonna meet up and I'm gonna get to have a go on his Al - the one that was presented to him when he retired from S & T. I'll try and grab a few photos. Will be good to see the ol' so n so again !!

edit just how do you spell "remembers" .

Give him best wishes from all of us. I'm just a lowly mod here, nowt but an ever-so-slightly 'promoted' forumite and I have no say on behalf of the company what so ever. But being NAMM week, when the EBMM crew are all so busy, I'm sure that I can speak on behalf of everyone, forumites and staff, in wishing BL all the very best and we hope he's enjoying his retirement as much as he so richly deserves. He's not forgotten round these parts and we think of him very fondly indeed.

The Lemon did a hell of a lot for us guys. I'd do anything to help Pete in any way 'cos that's the type of guy he is.

Looking forward to the meet up - I wonder if he has any Cobalt strings ????? lol

... and listen to some "chive talking" lol (sorry forum "in joke").

Had a great night with The Lemon on Tuesday. He took me into his inner sanctum and I got to play his Albert Lee - gosh I even sang to him and we still hadn't touched a drop. Had a look at old photos of him (30 odd years ago playing a Strat !!!!!!).

Then we went out to some of his local pubs and we ended up in the one that you guys at S & T use for your Xmas bashes? Had a nice rib eye steak each washed down with copious amounts of wine/Dark rum then later a pint or two.

The funny thing is that I am staying in Worthing and working in Durrington on Sea. When I got the train back from Pete's gaff I got off at Durrington instead of Worthing and the train service was cr4p that night, so a simple one stop train ride took well over an hour - dohhhhhhhh!!

So as you can guess I was asking about all you guys at S & T and how cool it would be to get to meet you maybe Andy and if my offer would be "the drinks are on me" and have a quickie afer work (too many jokes, not enough time) - but we could start with a cuppa Rosie.

Will be seeing the Lemon again and I'll get some photos next time.
