    NAMM 2012 GameChanger Updates

    Hello!

I appreciate the updates about new models such as the JP12 and LIII, which are indeed very good news. However I was wondering if there are any updates regarding the Game Changer as well. The last thing we heard about it was almost an year ago and I cannot help but be excited about what happened since then.

Any further information about the current state of the GameChanger and its availability will be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

BP dropped some nuggets of information in one of his latest posts. It looks like it will be available on mid March.

BP said something about you being able to also change the wiring with the jacks as well, and i also heard something about mono/stereo, so my guess about the deal with that is that it's sort of like Rickenbakers where you can have the instrument in "stereo" by lets say having the neck pick-up output to jack 1 (L) and the bridge pick-up output to jack 2 (R). I may be wrong but that's my guess.

Also BP said there is a lot more MIDI integration now. You can use a MIDI foot controller to cue up presets. Also apparently now you can use the guitar itself as a MIDI controller, so if you were to flip a switch on the guitar it would maybe change the lights or trigger a sound sample or something. I'm not sure if this means there will actually be a MIDI in and MIDI out jack on the guitar itself.

And yes March is the apparent release date. Someone said that March 16th is supposed to be the day the first batch leave the factory.

I hope this is true, because just the other day I was thinking about how cool it would be to have say a bridge humbucker coming out of one output and the outer coil of that humbucker to another amp, to simultaneously have both a humbucker sound and strat-like sound from one guitar. That would sound so awesome.

Bumping this thread. Now that we're 10 days away from the supposed day the first batch leaves the factory, just curious if that's still happening.
