at sound check with the guitarist from iron maiden

the awesome and wonderful Joe Bonamassa...just a twin reverb and a tube screamer. Stunning perfomance

Vai and Randy...great old friends

Paul Gilbert was the stud of studs....he took charge as bandleader and was crazy good...made mp3's for all the players with detailed parts everybody did their homework...except for Randy....But he wasnt supposed to...he had so much fun at soundcheck we decided on two bassists!

Vai with the Les Paqul only as a tribute to Jimmy Page who was to be the surpirse guest but couldnt make it

Unplanned each of the three bassist...ok 2 and a half....picked bongos without talking to each other and a different configuration

at the beginning giving a speech! Boriing!

You have the coolest job on earth! Thanks for sharing this concert! I've been to some trade shows for my company and it's nowhere near the fun that this show looks to be... I guess that's the musical instrument industry for yah!
