The pickup that came stock in his signature model was a Custom Wound DiMarzio humbucker not a Seymour Duncan pickup.

Benji definitely used a Seymour Duncan in his Silhouette Specials though.

I was told by the coworker I bought it from, that this Silo Spec was originally used by Benji Madden. There is a sticker on one of the pots marked Mar 26 '03

This may be the pickup you are looking for. It's a Dimarzio, and it's stamped F / C3.
(Never mind the gator clips, I was trying out a Vitamin Q cap in it)

A lot of people won't get that joke, but for my part, HAAAA!

To the best of my knowledge, EBMM release the guitar the artists uses. Assuming that to always be the case, if Benji preferred Duncan's when the guitar was designed, that would have been the pickup in the production model.

I sent an email to Music Man... they said Benji liked to use a Seymour Duncan 59 in his guitars, but they went with a DiMarzio for production.

I have a Benji, and am thinking about putting in a Seymour Duncan Invader
Three chords and two minutes is all I need.
