NGD - Trans Gold Axis Tribute - need other advice too

The brown truck just dropped off my new beauty yesterday. I traded in my fully loaded tangerine pearl JP6 at my local guitar center for the tribute and ordered this one from the Houston guitar center. The JP6 is a beautifully crafted instrument but I just had a hard time bonding with it. It just didn't feel right to me. I'm much happier with the axis. It feels like an old friend.

Now for the advice. I've been on the waiting list for the AxeFX II since November and just received my coupon code yesterday. But now there is another run of axis tributes coming and I would really like to pick up another one in a different color. I'm not in a band and don't gig anymore, just a bedroom player now jamming along with backing tracks.

Now I'm caught in a dilemma and I'm not sure what to do. I can only afford to pick one at the moment. My thought is that the tributes aren't gonna last long and now is the time to pick up another. I already have a PV 5150 with 2 slant cabs and some effects. It sounds great, especially with the axis, but it's just way too big and loud for what I need anymore and I've had my heart set on an AxeFX for quite a while. Just not sure what to do.

If I do go for another tribute, who do you all recommend I contact to get the best price and service?

Thanks for all the kind words fellas! I've hardly been able to put it down. It's got a terrific unplugged tone...the whole guitar just resonates. Major suckage on the neck and body. And I love the feel of the new Floyd system.

Thanks for the contact info ozzy. I think I've decided to go for another axis and put the axefx on hold for another month or so. I didn't really expect to get the coupon this fast. I'll try to get ahold of Robbie in the next couple days and see what he can do for me. He seems to be the "go to" guy around here as far as guitar center contacts.
