There's lots of love here for the Sports- lotsa guys have 'em and love 'em (myself included). Threads are few and far between probably because it's a discontinued model.

What Steve said... I think they're one of EBMM's most underrated guitars, I love mine.

I think it has a lot to do with the fact that they're discontinued. To be honest, I didn't know about the spot, as part of the Axi's evolution until after I stuck around the forum a while.

On top of the fact that its one of the least discussed guitars, add to it. But once I got some sense into it, they're awesome!

    Alex Hutchings sure loves his:

Not too long ago I started a thread about the Sports, too...they're fantastic instruments! Absolutely love my HSS hardtail, it plays like butter and sounds heavenly!

Give me a reason to show off one of my Balls and I'll jump right in

This is my recently acquired Axis Sport with MM90's. Amazing sound! I played it in one of my bands last week and I didn't have to turn up the volume for soloing! These pickups cut right through the mix!

    Lots of love here!

I'd love an HSS one with piezo and maple board. I am pretty sure they were don away with before the piezo we're offered do I can only dream. My first strat was ash and my first ball was an A.S.S so I love me some ash A.S.S. :-)
