    Raz,

    I've think I cut the strings one time since owning Floyds for the last 15 years or more.. then I learned to leave the ball on and string from top to bottom. Never had any trouble doing this, always using Super Slinkies, of course!

    Now that I've got a JP, I'll have to get used to stringing through the body.. I've never done that before.. never had a guitar that worked that way.

    I'll have to re-read the post somewhere about how the locking tuners work. Too bad they don't have a little manual that comes with the guitar!

    Locking tuners are the easiest thing...put the string thru, tighten, cut and wind...that's it!
