    yea ......baltimore........ that night was alot busier than normal.....between the clinic , #1 needing bridge saddle attention......and trying to find time to install a trim pot on the prototype...and t's piano walking all over the place (even more) during that show......skoots & i both were jumping.......

    shelf nut?.... ..does that mean "stock"?

    I'm wondering the same thing..is it a difficult retrofit to an Axis neck, Jon?

    ok .......i'll take a stab at it.....

    a nut that helps temper the tuning so it sounds more in tune to human ears......as opposed to perfection strickly on a tuner w/ reguard to intonation ...and the strings at proper pitch.

    The comensated nut improves intonation. We have a patent on our compensated nuts, so we do not sell them seperalty.
