    Ebmm users and Genre's

I'm kinda curious to see what genre's of music Ebmm users play in general. I know alot of you play more than a single genre (I definetly do) but just vote for the one that you most activly pursue and perform. And also List the spasific instruments you prefer for cirtain styles.

I'll Start, I voted for Extreme Metal/Hardcore. I play in a metalcore/melo death band (link in my signature) and in that band i've been using my Sub 1 HH since I got it about 5 months ago, its a great guitar for the style, and since we gig alot I dont have to constantly worry about it being damaged or stolen (tho that would suck) since it is a moderatly priced guitar. I also play jazz/prog music, and for that I tend to use my Sihlouette special because of the versitility and the fact that it has killer tone with a light distortion.

    Yeah EBMM!!!! \m/ \m/

I chose shred even though I suck at it. I like to call it "experimental shred".

I play Nu Jazz progressive buble gum voodoo blues with sort of a deth metal vibe enhanced by the r&b tip, combined with afrocentric euro highlights. If it was easy everybody would be doing it.

Hmm. No country, no indie/alt rock, no alt country, no hip hop, no r/b, no funk, no death klezmer.

    hmmm

Well I play Electronica (no assumptions please - I can't stand Gary Numan ), acoustic, pretty mellow/trance inducing stuff - I believe I've got some up for download on my website, we're called Mothra (name was from a typical drunken fiasco - had no idea this was Godzilla's arch enemy - guess I'll just have to take him down!

    Oh yeah,

my playing style is mostly contemporary and classic rock. I've been using my Les Paul for that for about 10 years, but ever since I got the EBMM Morse, the Les Paul has been gathering dust and is now up for sale.

But I also like playing more mellow, acoustic stuff and things like that. I'm into a whole bunch of different music styles and bands, so I try a lot of things out, although distortion is mostly on whilst playing...

I just try to play good. I practice many styles. I love classical, blues and definitely heavy metal (death and black metal fall into this as well for me), to prog.

I like most genre's of music. But, I am one with Jon about (C)rap.
"Welcome to the addiction!" is now patented by Koogie2k......if used by anyone other than Koogie2k....you must mail him a US nickel for each time said/typed or signed.......

Contemporary rock is probably my main fix tho classic rock gets some time too and I'm experimenting with more jazz of late...but in a rock vein.

The Axis is the weapon of choice for this tho I have a Luke on order too.
    2001 Axis, Honey Burst.
    2005 Luke LE, Buttercream.
