Just swaped the stock neck pickup of my Silhouette(rosewood neck) with a DiMarzio Air Norton. The problem is the neck position sounds very bright and thin to compare with my JP6... It's not warm, full. I am using mesa amps. Anything wrong there?

Just swaped the stock neck pickup of my Silhouette(rosewood neck) with a DiMarzio Air Norton. The problem is the neck position sounds very bright and thin to compare with my JP6... It's not warm, full. I am using mesa amps. Anything wrong there?

Could be that you need to lower it a bit more than it is. Possibly the pickup just doesn't sound good in that guitar. Or, could be wired wrong. ?

I am sure Ido not wired wrong.. I don't know why, sounds cool with the JP6 & Ibanez JPM..
