JP Bridge setup question ...[picture]

Hi guys,

I have found that i feel more confortable with this setup :

The bridge is a bit more higher on the 6th string side than the 1st string side
( i hope this is clear ) ,
this avoid any kind of fuzz ( even with the guitar umplugged) and raise a bit the action for the bass strings ( E A D )

my question is :

Can i leave this setting or it is incorrect ?
Can i damage the bridge/springs or any other guitar part if i remain in this condition ?

No problem but the more angle the more the trem will not go too well in the zero position and it will not go back in tune, but there has to be a lot more angle than in your case, but you can´t damage anything.
On the othe hand you could leave the ground plate paralell to the body and just raise the saddles of the bass strings a bit.
If your not sure to do this just measure the height of the strings make a note and so you are able to go back to the current status every time, good luck

It should be level. Use the saddles to raise the height of the independent strings...this is what makes the Pet trem so incredible

The bridge plate needs to parallel to guitar face Front to Back AND Side to Side in order to optimize trem's ability to return to as close to Intune as possible.
I'd raise the saddles.
(PS Have you already checked/adjusted the truss rod? Makes a big difference!)

when i raise the saddles , i need to detune the strings ? ( for decrease the tension ? )

Thanks to all guys!

I have correct the bridge position and raised the saddles for the low strings....
( and straighted a bit the truss-rod ...i hate the humidity)

I've checked this morning the neck and....is perfect

I think i have made a nice job ....with your help!!!!

Now i must go to work grrr
