OK so my brother was in, visiting from up north. He’s in the midst of a divorce so I had just the thing to lift his spirits…you see when I went down to visit him last year (just prior to the divorce) I saw a man that was consumed with extra-curricular activities…primarily the Junior A hockey team he coaches. So after he ate I brought him into the dining room (my makeshift studio). Now he hasn’t played in a number of years, so I introduced him to the fam, The EBMM fam (his comments, 'Ernie Ball, yeah I heard they made strings')…First off I let him play my SUB 1…and I witnessed how easily he was able to play(of course the 1/16" playability helps.) So I turned on the drum machine and left him to it…Of course I gave him the whole selling schpiel, about how, for the money, nothing comes close to the SUB 1, and about all of the innovations EBMM puts into their guitars and about the endorsees...but I don’t know if he heard cause he was in a groove! Well it was time to pull out the beast, and time to show him the ULTIMATE in guitar. Now the first thing he said was…7 strings WTF? But I simply said, don’t think of it as a 7 string guitar, just play the damn thing…and without any necessary adjustment time, he was playing it, and he was floored. Now this was after 10 hours of driving, so we still have a week or so to convince this schmuck to join the EBMM family…well I don’t think it will be that hard
