even if you shimmed the saddles to follow the radius of the neck and then shimmed the neck more to compensate for the raised saddle height, because of the smaller neck radius on the axis the strings will fret out on the bends if you try to get micro action. thats why the jp has that flat neck so you can have that super low action and not fret out on the bends. but i would get your axis set up and have them add a shim in the pocket before you sell it because my axis action is pretty low and plays really easy so you might not have it set as low as it can be. unless you just want a change and i can relate to that. i have considered selling mine to get a jp also just for a change.
