    proper truss rod adjustment

    firstly hello all
ive been on the petrucci forum for about a year now
just bought a jp6 so i thought id come and join you all over here

    a few questions
-with a straight edge and a feeler guage i am measuring 0.008" at the 7th fret
this is on the low e string (9-46 guage)
    is this not enough relief
my action is at 4/64ths at 12th fret

    i want about 2 or 3
    but i get buzz
    will more relief fix this?

also when i changed string guage i now notice the b string has lost a little bit of volume on the piezos
    ?

any help would be greatly appreciated

    -thanks

I have absolutely no idea what you're talking about but I suspect jonguitarz will be along after the hangover from the Open House has subsided (around about December then...) and believe everything the man tells you. He's a genius

And welcome to the 'net's most helpful and friendly forum (regardless of subject)
