Bought a Lawrence XL500 for my latest axis that I just got but after getting the pickup mail order, the pu was too high height wise to fit in the bridge cavity.
Now my question. Does the Duncan Dimebucker come close to the XL500 sound wise? I know the Dimebucker is hotter and being a duncan will probably fit nicely in the axis. I've got a XL500 in a washburn Nuno Vintage & love the sound. Was hoping to get the lawrence into all my axis'.
Any thoughts or feedback?

The sound is clipped at the begging but you won't miss the short solo.
