i don't know if its just me, but i like the Dargie 1 inlays better.

I'm guessing something else had to be changed to distinguish these from the first series, I like both inlays equally. The color shifting paint and ebony put these over the top for me, like Jack said, the Bongo's with this scheme are going to be off the hook. This makes up for the inlay difference for me. I talked to Brandt at T.P.B. today about pricing and was very pleased at the quote for a Bongo 5Hp, even with the piezo price upgrade I thought it was very decent for a future collectible bass (4 week window for ordering y'all!). So make sure you get on the phone and call the MM dealer of your choice, if you missed the first Dargie's or the rosewood's now's the chance to get something just as cool (I think maybe even cooler).

All around the world...
Only for Americans?!?

Thanks for the link, phatdukk.

What an awesome color that is.... *dreaming*
Nevertheless, the DD2-Edition leaves some questions to me...

1) Will the DD2 be available in Germany (Europe), too?
2) And if so: Is it possible to get the head of StingRays/Sterlings colored, too? Would look MUCH nicer, to my mind.
3) And does "The Dargie Limited Edition is available on all instruments except the Steve Morse Y2D, Axis, and Axis Super Sport models." mean that any pickup config will be available? Sterling 5, too?

OMG, I'm so excited...

Thanks for your information on my questions!
