Sterling ax40 sustain block

First post. AX40 coming in a couple of days due to huge GAS attack. Have read that the sustain block is kinda small. Has anyone replaced it? Where can I get one that fits? Should I even bother? Got the d-tuna coming with it which I read works/fits perfectly.

its a standard 40mm depth block. It is small compared to an upgrade block like the ones you see at the various sites.

Installing a bigger block made of steel or brass or even titanium will of course make it sound bigger. When Iget back to the office tomorrow I'll snap some pictures of our block with some dimensions.

I decided to use a piece of oak, works very well - 6cm x 3 3cm by 8mm.
