Ya, I already made 6 tweets about him. Tweeted the lyrics of Neon Nights.

Metal bar bands anthem for tonight should be that song.

Sad... R.I.P. Ronnie.

The older I get the more grateful I am that I'm still getting older.
I've seen many friends go way too soon, and as you say, many legends seem to be passing on .
RIP MR Dio

So sad. One of the great rock singers and, from what I heard, a really nice guy. He will be missed.

This is extremely sad, I think he's had cancer for a while now. He had one of the best voices ever, even in his 60s he was still amazing. The metal world will miss him!

On the bright side I played a Reflex today?

Man, that really sucks. He was one of the greatest voices of 80s metal, if not the best.

Think I'll honor him by taking one more try at nailing that Rainbow in the Dark solo....RIP Ronnie.:(

Brings me back to my teenage years.
Didn't think those music icons were mortals back then!
What a powerful voice he had, It should resonate for many years to come through the generation he influenced.

Sad news. He was still cranking out great music, and had much more in him.

I have been a Rainbow/Sabbath/Dio fan my whole life. His music was always in constant rotation for me. I saw Heaven and Hell last summer and Dio was definitely on top of his game. Hard to believe he is gone. NP - Sacred Heart.

Easily one of the greatest voices in heavy metal. I got the chance to see Heaven & Hell once live, and he performed great! He'll certainly be missed. RIP Ronnie James Dio.
