thanks for sharing this video. I love what they did with the 13, and the color/hardware, features are top notch. I am just dreaming here on a JP14 or maybe wait for the 15 and see an all Gold sparkle one with gold hardware.... Hey John!?

I'm suprised John isn't using the Majesty in the studio. I guess being a prototype he has to keep it indoors; otherwise, pics would get out.

Not that I'm much of a fan of guitars with on-board preamps myself...I'm still very much excited for how this will sound on the new record. I'm glad he's gone back to the warmth of rosewood with this one...and I'm glad he went back to the basswood body with this one and with the JP12.

I thought the same thing about the preamp but after looking at the wiring diagram and knowing you can control the amount of boost it might become handy

I was told by the dealer that I might be getting it on April instead of July because the waiting is unbearable

I didn't find a Pic or Video that shows the Back of the JP13, but does anyone who went to NAMM know, if the Preamp is using an extra Battery, or does the Piezo and the Preamp share the same Battery? Might be useful IMO, so you can still use the Piezo if the Preamp dies, or the other way around.
