This is in my office. Both the Luke Blue (LKB) and Black Metallic (BKM) with Luke's poster in back

...and that "V" neck!
All that played it at NAMM were quite impressed that we nailed the feel!

063 (957x1280).jpg
Vintage Trem set to Luke's personal specs. Step and a half pulls or full dives. Really smooth feel, accurate tuning stability.
It's really a treat to play this model!

This is Luke's personal LK100D we are sending him today.

Luke and I at the photo session for the LK100D. He was kind enough to fit a photo session in for us during Toto's rehearsals last year before they hit the road.
A consummate professional, amazing guitarist, and a great personality: we are so proud to have Luke onboard with Sterling By Music Man!

Looks outstanding! That may be my next MM purchase right there in Blue! Important - what's the street price?

Thanks

Nice loooking axe, can't wait to try one...that V looks pretty pronounced to me, whereas the necks on both my Lukes aren't that pronounced...anyone who already played it can shed some light to this? Maybe it's only because of the satin finish it looks that way.

Actually looks pretty good. Like the blue with the chrome pickup covers.... Tasty.

It felt very much like my DD Luke - a noticeable V shape without being sharp.

Hey Pete - do you have any EBMM guitars with the more C-shaped neck with which you could do a side by side comparison picture of the neck profile with one of those Lukes? Like a Morse or a Reflex? :) :)

I can do a visual on Friday with a contour gauge if they aren't gone by then! Taking a side-by-side photo of the necks doesn't accurately show the profile. The LK100D feels very much like my Dargie Luke2 from 2006

This is a great thread with a bunch of profiles shown via contour gauge.
