Hi all

Is it possible to connect with a USB to the iPhone?

The iPhone I have is the new smaller Lightning fitment. Not sure what Core Midi hardware would fit!

Many thanks

You can use a Midi to USB and an Apple adapter that I believe is for connecting a camera. The other way you can go is with the IK Multimedia iRig Pro, IK Multimedia | iRig PRO it comes with all necessary cables for your iOS devices, Mac & PC computers. It's a bit pricey but works for many different applications.

When using The Gamechanger App, you need to connect the instrument to an iOS device via MIDI, not USB.

All iOS accessories that comply with CoreMIDI will work with The Gamechanger App. For devices with lightning connectors, I've been using an iRig MIDI with Apple's 30-pin to lightning converter.

Just out of curiosity . . . Could you substitute other pickups for the ones that come in the Game Changer and still be able use all the coil configurations?

Thanks,
Bob
