The good folks over at Reverb.com recently did a video on choosing the right strings that featured several of the Ernie Ball electric string lines. Keen-eyed observers will notice plenty of eye candy in the way of the yet-to-be-released Cutlass guitar used in the video. Check it out!

Great to see the Cutlass. For me, the comparison between string type is totally lost by gain level and song changes. Maybe I missed the point. Cool video either way.

They did a second video playing the strings on the same amp settings. I linked to it in the thread in the strings section of the forum.

There is an ad for the Cutlass and the Sting Ray in the January 2016 Guitar Player magazine - yes I still get them (it's about $1 and issue at the rate I subscribe at). The ad is a cropped version of the "Classic Design. Modern Performance" shot on the rotating MM landing page. Small print with "Available 2-1-2016" at the bottom of the ad, so it looks like we'll get the specifics at the NAMM show next month.
