Thanks. Taking delivery of mine mid week (thanks Pete!) and was wondering as I know it doesn't have the silent circuit.

Great gittars. Put some fresh strings on it, set it up, and play with the knobs..lots of great sounds even w/o using the gain & split....

Pete already took care of the strings, etc when he put the HB split tone nob mod in. . I grabbed one of the flame neck models he just received. Can't wait!!

Does it not have the 12db gain boost in the volume knob?? It says it does in the description on the SBMM site.

Yes, it has the boost! I was also able to retain the additional caps and resistors that are originally wired onto the tone pot - this is a pretty screaming guitar.
