Seriously, my Soul Driven pedal by Xotic showed up and it pairs with the Valentine perfectly. It make every Valentine tone even creamier, but leaving the spank. So good.

Secondly, I am extremely upset with you. In addition to other EBMMs that I am currently saving and budgeting for, now I must have a Valentine and a Soul Driven pedal! GAS is a bitch and you just made mine worse!
May I ask what amp and recording chain you used?

I went guitar > Soul Driven > flanger (by Pal the Giraffe) > Engl Raider amp.

Like everyone else said, love the playing! I'm always amazed by how the Valentine can do something different when a different player picks it up. Makes me wish I had one!

Thanks for that, radrock! I have a Valentine somewhere in the pipeline, and can't wait for the day it arrives. I'm trying to ignore the Soul Driven, instead working to convince myself that I have enough overdrive pedals.

Delivery date was supposed to be 5/23, but just got promoted to 5/19! End of this week.
