Hello everyone!

It's been a few years since I've been here. Had a Bongo 5 HS some years ago that I sold and regreted soon after. It was finally time to get a Bongo again. I don't know how rare are the neptune blue these days, but I might have been lucky to find one.

I had to remove and clean the pickguard with some alcohol, the plastic protection has been sitting on it for the past 3 years and had left some really bad looking marks on it. It looks all shiny now though !

I'm happy to have a Bongo again, I missed that tone. Also I can't believe how light it is compared to the 5 strings I had before.

That is sweet! I have the exact same bass but with the added piezo pickup. Love neptune blue with the mahogany body and roasted neck. I think you were lucky to find that one.
