St. Vincent different inlays

I was looking at St. Vincent in Tobacco Burst at Sweetwater and I noticed something odd.

One of them has different fretboard inlays (standard dots).

Is that an anomaly, or is it possible to order it that way?

Either way, I thought it was strange.

That does seem like some sort of anomaly. To the best of my knowledge all STVs should come with the custom inlays, and dot inlays are not an option.

Yes, either that or they were done with dots as a special order for GC.

It was listed along side 2 others that have the expected inlays. Apparently this one is the only one left in that color now. I ordered one of the others

The ones offered at NAMM are trans gold and trans blue
