Hi there ,

This is probably the most sucessfull project i have done with a guitar. My old Luke had some cracks in the neck joint clear coat, and some dings in the paint. So i decided to refinish it in the color Luke used to have in 2007 in the Falling in Between tour. Quite a striking Green goldish color, the dargie delight.

Color was un-findable in most car shops, and the ones that tried doing this color, including one post i saw here, wasn't 100%, so i had someone at Musicman giving me the mixing ratios for the color to be right - and i promised by the way not to tell the ratios ;)

So here is the final, shot it yesterday, and then clear coated today.

Tell Me what you think.

Nice it looks more chrome-ish green to me, but nice job none the less.

You might get yourself in trouble with the Dargie Delight logo, though. Good luck there.

That really has to do with Iphone pictures, i did have to adjust the filters and the colors are not 100%, but i respected the ratio so it should be the same.
For the logo, i don't plan to resell it, so for personal use it should be fine, same as people who put fender logos on non fender i guess...

No doubt, Kevin. The logo is solid. The paint job is wicked too. Well done.
