Please feel free to move this to another category but I've noticed lately loads of these posts on Tapatalk

I haven't seen anybody mention it either so is it just me? Is there an issue with spam at the minute?

We've been having a series of spam attacks of late. The mods have deleted hundreds of posts like these. Yep.

Let's hope that the mods will not be too heavy handed and will not remove the useful spam ... you know Viagra, Russian Brides and penis enlargement

Is this why, even when logged in, I have to do multiple "I am not a robot" captcha's before every post? Gotta say, that's not exactly fun. 3 posts tonight prior to this one. Takes longer to get past Captcha than to write a post!

For the moment, yes. There have been nightly spam assaults so it's there for the moment- sorry.

I am not much of a computer guy.

I saw the many posts of spam attacks, but what do they do? Other than take up space. Are they trying to redirect us to another site?

I totally understand & appreciate the security measures in place (at the moment?).

fwiw & FYI- on the desktop, I just click the "I am not a robot" once and good to go.
However, I wrote out a long reply on my phone yesterday to a different thread here (which for me is dang painful to do on the phone..), then the "not a robot" thing kept asking me to complete these little picture puzzles that I could hardly see... after the 5th one, I just gave up and lost that reply.

Just letting you know.

No, it's seems to be classic spam, most of the current batch seems to Korean Soccer fans, oddly enough. I guess our forum got added to a spam bot list somewhere and we suddenly had a huge amount of it.

The awesome EBMM computer guys and gals have a solution in place that I hope has stopped most of it. Seems to have so far.
