On a high I stopped in to see Pete Dubaldo after attending JPGU and picked up this Starry Night JP6.

If you want a smoking deal on a JP give Pete a call if you are on the fence. He has at least one that you will save some bucks on. Thanks again Pete!

I'm also sharing some pics from the Guitar Universe that was so incredible. I learned a lot from all the instructors and met some really cool people from all over the world. Saudi Arabia, Brazil, Denmark, London etc. It had to be the highest concentration of JP guitars outside the factory and there were some monster players. Most were young which is great to see!

Missed the EB reps as there was some sort or scheduling mixup and they were there a day early and missed the gear round table.

Absolutely. There were classes all day long. JP himself had 2 per day. It was very informative

Sorry to rebump this old thread.

I just saw an add for JP's GU #2 and tempted to join. Can you give me pros & cons? Would combine this with a trip to NYC as it is quite close. I'm a big fan of JP, Tony and Andy James... Is it worth throwing that amount of money?

It was a blast. I met a ton of cool people and it was total guitar immersion for the entire week. All the pros were extremely approachable and I found out that I hardly know anything about the guitar, lol. Food was great, facilities awesome. It ran very smoothly. The entire hotel is just the JPGU attendees so its all guitar all the time. People walking around with guitars. Fun and humbling. I learned a lot. Not in the cards for me this year though. Will definitely go in the future if I have another chance. If you have a specific question PM me.
