Yesterday I celebrated 40 years in service with HM Government. I had a great letter of thanks from the Director with a nice personal inflection rather than just the generic diatribe. Also a 40 year certificate and a gift of £40 - it's not the amount but the fact that I got something in recognition.
(I'll be putting it towards a £75 component for my Delorean - a double whammy as £50 goes to charity - as a colleague in Scotland is fighting cancer I donated it to a local cancer charity).
Anyway, it got me thinking about Sterlings Employees. I believe that on 40 years service they can have a guitar built totally at their own spec - now wouldn't it be something to see photos of those
