My count went up by one today but it was really a bass I'd loaned out a few years ago to a friend in SoCal. My beloved and underappreciated SUB came home yesterday and is now sporting Cobalt flats!

Yes I must behave.....That got out of hand quickly. Ok. If I can resist the Sweetwater Red Devil SR5 it will go along way to restoring my sanity. God help me.

I have been trying to reduce my bass collection and had made up my mind to not buy any additional basses. Then I traded Scott and received that lovely SR5 and that got me looking at Bongo 6's since I usually play 6 string.....found a used one on Reverb but it sold quickly and then I played a shopworn new one locally and the idea of the Bongo 6 sort of went on the back burner. Then I saw the Sweetwater deal and they had one that weighed 9 pounds, 13 ounces. 10 ponds is my limit so the Chili Red Bongo 6 is on the way to me.

I now own 6 six string basses, all 35" scale except for the Bongo. I think I do need to visit my daughter who is a psychologist. Or win the lottery.
