I play a SR 4H SLO because of the neck. Now I want to change to a SR 4HH also SLO.
Could the Sabre Classic be a alternative in respect of the neck (sa the normal SR-necks are too chunky for me) ?

I believe the Sabre necks were more like a standard Stingray neck. At least that's what I remember from when I tried one out a few years ago.

Any reason you don't want to go with a Sterling HH, since you are considering a Sabre? Will have the neck you like.

Also the Big Al has a neck that is very similar if not the same as the sterling. Maybe another alternative if you can find one.

I like the the SR-sound more than the Sterling and think, the Sabre is nearer to a 4HH (with less harshness). I havnˋt played the Big Al, but expect it is even more different in sound.
