I think for 35 dollars and the cost of nexkplate they should have just swallowed it and made him a happy bunny. I’d think otherwise if it hadn’t passed 3QCs and still gone out with such problems. Better to swallow a little more cost and cultivate him to buy more guitars in future (not speaking from ignorance - I work in quality control in a more extreme environment- UK higher education where it all gets pretty litigious)
