Otherwise there's a risk of buying another guitar 😀

And I've also ruined my holiday as I can't wait to get back home and pick it up. Lol.

Picked her up yesterday, very nice indeed. A bit of a risk buying without trying, but not so much with Musicman. 👍

Turn your camera sideways and I’m sure you could fit a third guitar in the frame.

Time to get shopping! :)

I just keep my phone in a tinfoil case so that RFID fraudsters can't hack my identity. Just like the lining of my ballcap. Coincidentally this also makes it so that I can't impulse buy guitars while traveling.

I m so happy to have them. I may have got rid of a few of my guitars leading up to retirement (that was always the plan) but my Gold Knobs will never leave me lol.

The Delorean?
Yes it's coming along - it started for the first time since the 90's a few weeks ago!! It sounded like a tractor as the exhaust gaskets were toast. I've now got a new (expensive!!) Stainless exhaust and headers going on over the weekend.
The new exhaust is sat ontop after an initial "dry" fitting - just took delivery of some heat proof sheathing that will prevent heat soak into the loom which runs close to the headers . The loom is 36 years old - a little bit brittle but still serviceable.

Any other DeLorean owners on here ?

I'm getting good at working with stainless steel too ! But it's heavy going with just a vice, hacksaw and files - no bending machine, no laser cutter - I wish!!

May I be indulged with the permission to upload a picture of "the other woman in my life" ? :)

When mine is all done and ready for the road there is a renowned UK specialist called Chris Nicholson.
He was the guy on the "Wheeler Dealers" TV show with Ed China who fixed the dents and regrainned the car.

He's been very complimentary on my work and will be doing mine!!

The guy who took over from John Delorean lives in the UK in the midlands and we have met (for a dinner on him!!) and we correspond. His name is Barrie Wills and was very close to saving the company when it went into liquidation in '82 ... I could go on ..... another period of my life ... another challenge .. but as my 93 year old Mam says "Kevin, you will never lose your love of music"
