Fellow Musicmans🙂

Im having troubles with the paint on the back of my Luke II BFR.
Suddenly the paint is cracking and bubbling up. It looks very bad. Has anyone experience like this?
It has been stored in room temperature - No extremes.
I think the paint is ruined for good but only on the back.
It would be nice to avoid the same on the front, so any advise will be appreciated 🙂
It hard to capture in pictures, but I have tried 🤘

Regards and thx - Hans

Oh wow. You should really get in touch with the customer service folks and get their professional opinion. This is very unusual.

Are there scratches in the paint as well? If they went through the base coat that can let moisture/oils in under the finish.

Still.. I've seen guitars beat to hell and that hasn't happened. Weird.

Small belt scratches. (When I was slim it was alot worse- no more scratches on my new guitars;-) No scratches thru the paint.

What do you use to clean or polish that guitar? I'm just curious if a cleaning agent seeped into the scratches and lifted the finish?
