I’ve got my eye on a 20th Ann silhouette.
Seems to have been a limited run. Can anyone help me find the specs on it?
I can’t seem to get a pic to load....

I have 2 hard tails with matching headstocks , one of which came from Pete above. Could not agree more on sound/tone... superb. Run was limited to about 300pcs.

What do y’all think would be a fair price in very good condition?

Are the Dimarzios in the 20th the same as the ones in The Reflex?

First of all, the Reflex had different humbuckers depending on model. If it's pre-GameChanger, I believe they are Axis pickups. Same for the HH GameChanger. But the HSH GameChanger had different humbuckers. (And I don't know how they differ.)

I don't think the 20th had Axis humbuckers - think they were more like the Virtual PAF or something - but don't take that as at all authoritative. :)

Ok, I have one of the pre game-changer reflex. I LOVE the tone.
It has the Dimarzio “custom” wound for ebmm. 500k pots.
Same specs as is listed for the 20th anniversary Sil.
Which is why I was hoping they might be the same pups.

A fair price is a hard call, does it seem fair to you? Is it worth the amount they are asking? Does it have all the features that you want?

Good luck with the decision. Glenn |B)

I feel ya. I was trying to get a general used market value.
Ebmm used prices are all over the place and some models are hard to research.

The 20th is hard to make a call on. I had one took me forever to sell it. People either love them or hate them.

I recommend that you log into EvilBay and check the completed sales to see what they are going for. Or Reverb.

Good luck, Glenn |B)

The neck pickup is the Virtual PAF. The bridge pickup is the Virtual Hot PAF.

Dudley: "No two instruments are the same as far as choosing pickups. It depends completely on the artist, or the sound that we are looking to achieve in that model. As for the Silhouette 20th, we wanted a really good vintage humbucker sound, with covers. DiMarzio had sampled us the Virtual PAF and since we are using that in Silhouettes, it was a matter of making sure it sounded right with the cover and in the new body with the mahogany. It was more than right. The Hot Virtual PAF bridge pickup is new to the 20th, and really completed the package."

The 20th Anniversary Silhouette is one of only two guitars I've had over the years that I wish I hadn't let go.
