Hello all,

Is that a pickup cover and ramp on Tim Commerford's maple 'ray that is shown on the EBMM site, or are they black polepieces (or old Sabre PU's)? Very classy look, IMHO.

Thanks everyone.

That is definitely an interesting bass. It looks like it's got the old style bridge with mutes and 2 band EQ. However the headstock is not from a Stingray Classic, and looks to be current production. Would the "old" stingray 4 neck fit the Stingray classic?

I think it is endorsement/custom ordered.
Sabre pickups are smaller in dimension.
Looks like an Classic Ray (mute bridge) but with a contured body, "unfinished" standard logo maple neck, sabre-like pickup cover:

Black polepieces has his HH Model:

There is a video floating around of Timmy running down his rig. If i remember right the bottom bass is a Natural 4HH with black hardware, roasted neck and Classic Mute bridge. I know that at some point he had his basses in for custom electronics (aka. the top picture). Not sure which brand the custom stuff is but not EBMM. JOSH
