We all know the "boil your strings to clean them" trick. Here is the question...

What is your favorite technique/method for cleaning and/or reviving strings?

I use coated steels so they pretty much take care of themselves. Wipe with dry cloth, bit of FF every now and again. Change them soon as they go flat

New set.

You could get a lot of mileage if you clean your strings after the gig, I use Fingerease. But at some point the intonation goes away with old strings and they could break during the gig so it's not worth it.
