I scored this last night and just wanted to share.
I put feelers out for a blue EVH and someone contacted me through one of the EVH forums to offer me this sunburst EVH. I politely declined because I had "blue" on the brain and, well ... the sunburst color really didn't do anything for me. I kept the pics in my phone and the more I looked, the more I realized that this guitar was in immaculate condition, especially considering it's age! The quilted top looked nice and consistent and the birdseye on the neck was just drop dead gorgeous. Long story short, I contacted the seller and made an offer.
I did some research and learned that there were probably only 600 sunburst models ever made.
I posted it over on the Facebook page and some had made comments of it being "Iced Tea" or "Honeyburst". Did EBMM identify these different sunburst finishes as such, or were they all just considered "Sunburst" by EBMM?
Thanks for looking and please feel free to share pics of your sunburst EVH's if you have em!
