Hi, my name is Jordan I recently purchased a new RS cutlass I’ve noticed on my fingerboard around the frets there is some ugliness, I’m thinking it’s glue  but not sure. Was hoping to get some thoughts from some of you here. Not sure What to do. This is my first “high dollar” purchased guitar and its amazing besides these ugly marks in the fingerboard. I’ll link some photos. THANKS

I’m surprised that one got through the inspection process, unless that somehow happened after it left the factory.

Definitely contact your dealer and/or EBMM CS immediately. I can't tell whether that's glue, or the fingerboard cracking. But, that should not be on a guitar of any age. I've never seen that happen before.

Thanks for the welcome. I messaged music man customer service. Hopefully I will get an email response soon. I think I watched your unboxing of your cutlass like 3 or 4 times. What a beauty.

Hard to tell, but it almost looks like something that might disappear with a really fine steel wool and a light touch.

Does it come off with a little scrape from a fingernail?
