Hello all,
I just bought a MM JP15 and it's out for delivery. It's a flame top Sahara burst. Hype levels are pretty high here at the office.

My question is: This guitar was not listed as a BFR, yet appears to have a BFR neckplate. Does that mean that it is a BFR or do the JP models all come with this neckplate?

thanks!

The JP BFR, JPX, JPXI, JP12, JP13, JP15 and JPXVI are all BFR models. They are also known as Anniversary Models. The once known PDN (Premier Dealer Network) offers were recently renamed BFR as well. Congratulations on the new guitar!!

All JP15 guitars come with a "Ball Family Reserve" neck plate. The reason, is because in the past, Ernie Ball Music Man used to sell certain designated highest price point instruments as "Ball Family Reserve" whereas now, we have our Ball Family Reserve releases throughout the year offering exclusive instruments, offered in a limited run.
