Hello Forum Members!

I am very interested in ordering a BFR bass this year and was just wondering if anyone knows if a 5 string bass will be offered in 2019, since the last two BFR basses were 4 and 6 stringers.

Also, when does EBMM announce these instruments? Is it on a set date, or does it just happen periodically every so many months apart?

Thanks for your help!

I *believe* that it is essentially every other month now. That doesn’t necessarily mean the firstof the month, either. I can’t offer any help on the 5-string question.

Thanks Brother!

If they do come out with a BFR 5 this year the plan is to place my order the day the announcement comes out! ;)

Would love to see ANY Stingray Special 5!

I would have one on order before the day ends when they make the announcement! :D

Wonder why they didn't use the new lite weight tuners. Looks to have the old style bridge, like that!

The 5 Sting has the larger bridge, 9v, and alnico pickups. The 4 string has neo mags / smaller bridge ect...

Guess which one I'm lusting for?

You are more of a 5 string guy, so will go with that.

I think both are great and would love to get either.

But want to get an SR 5 H Special and one of the new short scales so neither is on the radar for me.
